Official Prize Rules

01Sponsor

These Official Prize Rules ("Rules") govern prizes offered in the Game. The sponsor is PassPass LLC ("Sponsor"). These Rules are part of the Terms of Use.

02Eligibility

To be eligible for a prize you must, at the time you play and at the time of award:

• Be a legal resident of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, excluding [EXCLUDED STATES, e.g. states where counsel advises cash prizes for skill-based contests are restricted];
• Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence if higher;
• Hold one registered Account in good standing that complies with the Terms of Use;
• Hold an active PassPass Arcade membership where required to compete for cash prizes;
• Not be an employee, contractor, member or manager of Sponsor, or an immediate family or household member of any of them.

03Weekly League

Entry is free. Each week runs Monday 12:00 AM to Sunday 11:59 PM U.S. Eastern Time. Each Player may enter one lineup per sport per week (NBA, MLB, NFL, MLS). Lineups are drafted from player cards dealt by the Game, with a limited number of re-rolls per round, and must be submitted during the draft window, currently Monday 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM ET. Lineups lock at the close of the window.

Points are earned only from real-world statistics recorded by the selected players in official games during that week, using the scoring table published on the Rules page. Game stats are generally updated daily on game days approximately every 15 minutes; updates may be delayed by the data provider, and displayed points are provisional until final. Results are based on statistics, not chance, and Sponsor does not alter league points.

Prizes: for each sport, the top five (5) eligible Players by total points for the week each win [PRIZE AMOUNT PER PLACE]. Total weekly prizes per sport: [TOTAL]. If fewer than [MINIMUM] eligible Players enter a sport in a week, Sponsor may [award reduced prizes / carry over / not award prizes].

Ties: each Account has a permanent random tiebreaker number assigned at creation. Each week Sponsor generates a random target number. Tied Players are ranked by whose tiebreaker number is closest to the target without going over; if all go over, the closest number wins. Every place is ranked.

04Undefeated Challenge

Eligible Players who complete a perfect (undefeated) simulated season in each of the four sports (NBA, MLB, NFL and MLS) win a one-time prize of twenty U.S. dollars (USD $20). A perfect season in any offered decade, including Mix, counts toward its sport.

The Undefeated Challenge is a game of chance combined with skill. Simulated seasons use random outcomes. The odds of a perfect season depend on team rating and on how many sports the Player has already completed; the maximum odds for a strong team per season are approximately 1 in 20 for the first sport completed, 1 in 40 for the second, 1 in 67 for the third and 1 in 100 for the fourth. Odds may be changed prospectively; seasons already played are not affected.

Limit one Undefeated Challenge prize per person and per Account [for the lifetime of the promotion / per period].

05Verification and Award

Potential winners are determined after a week's statistics are final, generally within [7] days after the week ends. Statistics are final when recorded by Sponsor's data provider; later corrections by the leagues will not change results unless Sponsor, in its discretion, corrects an obvious error before prizes are awarded.

Anyone may play the Game for free, at any age permitted by the Terms of Use. Only Players 18 or older may win or claim a prize. To claim a prize, a potential winner must verify their identity by completing an IRS Form W-9 through PassPass. Prizes are paid only after the W-9 is completed and the Player is confirmed to meet every eligibility requirement.

Sponsor monitors play for abuse, such as many accounts per person, play from many unusual locations, or play faster than a person reasonably can. Accounts flagged for review may have prizes held until review is complete, and accounts found in violation are ineligible for prizes.

Potential winners will be notified in the Game or by email and must respond within [14] days and complete any requested affidavit of eligibility, liability release and tax forms. Failure to respond, ineligibility, or non-compliance results in forfeiture, and the prize may be awarded to the next eligible Player.

Prizes are paid in U.S. dollars by [PAYMENT METHOD] within [30] days of verification. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution is allowed except by Sponsor, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

06Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for all taxes. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 to any winner receiving USD $600 or more in a calendar year and may require a completed Form W-9 before paying any prize.

07Fair Play and Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify any Player, void any entry or result and withhold or reclaim any prize if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that the Player used multiple Accounts, bots or scripts, colluded, exploited a bug, tampered with the Game, provided false information or otherwise violated these Rules or the Terms of Use.

08Errors and Interruptions

Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, data provider errors or outages, postponed or cancelled games, lost or late entries, or any other event beyond its reasonable control. If the Game or a week is corrupted or cannot run as planned, Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend it and award prizes in a manner it deems fair, or not at all, to the extent permitted by law.

09Publicity

Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize a winner agrees that Sponsor may display the winner's handle, profile picture and results in the Game and in promotional materials, without further compensation.

10Release and Limitations

By participating, Players release Sponsor and its members, managers, employees and agents from any liability arising from participation or from the acceptance or use of a prize, to the extent permitted by law. Disputes are resolved as described in the Terms of Use.

11Not Affiliated

Prizes are offered solely by Sponsor. They are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the NBA, MLB, NFL, MLS, any team or player, ESPN, Apple or Google.

12Winners List

For a list of winners, send an email to [legal@passpassarcade.com] within 90 days after the end of the relevant week.
